In the beginning -
an unexpected meeting

It all started with a sustainablitity tour in Peru and the meeting with Renato

A miraculous meeting caused by an accident in the Peruvian mountains, started our adventure with Planet-A-mor. Our CEO and co-founder, Michael Kristensen, was on a motorcycle sustainability tour in 2019 across South America. The purpose of the tour was to learn about how indigenous people were living in harmony with nature and to share this wisdom with the industrial world. In the blink of an eye, a motorcycle accident on dusty roads stopped the tour and changed everything. With more than 5 hours to the nearest city with a hospital, the situation was critical. Eventually, out of nowhere Renato came to the rescue. After recovering at the hospital and meeting Renato again - It was revealed that Renato owns some lands and had a dream of creating substantial socio-economic change for the Ashaninkas, the indigenous people in the town of Tournavista. He asked for help to make his idea a reality and we are happy to be fulfilling that dream today.

A friendship grew out of an accident. In my experience, helping people makes all the difference. I believe we are all rooted like trees with their roots under the soil - let this connection carry us forward towards a better world for people, animals and the environment. Let`s help each other for a higher purpose.
